April–October for trekking (spring blossoms, autumn colors). Winters (Dec–Feb) are icy but magical for snowscapes.

3. Do I need a guide for K2 Base Camp trek?

Absolutely. It’s remote and technical. We only recommend licensed guides (ask us for vetted contacts).

4. How do I get to Fairy Meadows?
  1. Jeep from Raikot Bridge (3hrs, rough terrain)

2. Hike (2–3hrs from Tatto village). Pro tip: Book jeeps in advance!

5. Are there ATMs in Skardu/Hunza?

Yes, but carry cash (PKR). ATMs sometimes run out, especially in remote villages like Passu.
